William passed into eternal life on June 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents William & Charlene, a sister, Karen, & brother, Brian. He was born in Jackson, graduated from St. Mary High School in 1961, & attended Michigan State University. Survivors include his true love, his wife Sandy of almost 48 years, sons Ryan & Sean (Amanda), & Brian Daly, 5 grandchildren Nolan, Teagan, Rowan, & Meghan Kerwin, & Jourdan Daly, brothers Denny, Tim & Patrick, many friends & relatives.
Mickey then entered the Army & attained the rank of SP4 as a clerk typist preparing paperwork for soldiers leaving the military from Ft. Eustis, Virginia. Returning home he started working at Yardman as a painter on lawnmowers & worked his way into a purchasing capacity, which would follow him the rest of his life. Moving on he went to Englewood Electric, the State Prison, then Camp International as Director of Purchasing. He finished his working years as a salesman for Les Stafford, selling new & used cars.
He enjoyed playing cards here & in Florida. Golf trips up North with brother Pat & the highlight was the winter trips to Punta Gorda, Florida with Sandy. He belonged to the K of C, the American Legion & the Elks. He enjoyed camping with the Eager Beaver RV group where he was President, & golfing with the seniors at Burr Oak. He also kept his classmates up to date on any personal matters & organized class get togethers. Mickey has requested cremation. There will be a Mass of Christian burial at Queens Church on Friday July 11th, 2025 at 11:00 am, with visitation at 10:30 in the church. In lieu of flowers envelopes will be at the back of church for the American Cancer Society.
