William H. “Bill” Leslie III of Somerset Center, passed away in the comfort of his home with his family by his side May 7, 2024 age 67 years. He is survived by his longtime companion Sue Roberts, two sons; Bill (Kelly) Leslie of Somerset Center and Nick Leslie of Brooklyn, one step-daughter Taelo (Gerry) Davids of Dimondale and one step-son Chad Thurman of Fenton, two grandsons; Will and Cash and two granddaughters; Piper and Sawyer, two sisters; Linda and Brenda and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ardith Leslie.
He graduated from Hanover-Horton High School, Class of 1975 and Jackson Community College. Bill was a Tool & Die Maker retiring from Aeroquip/Eaton Corporation with over 25 years of service. He had a lifelong passion for trapping, hunting and fishing. Bill was a devoted father, grandfather and friend and was known for his generosity and humor. A celebration of his life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel Friday May 17, 2024 at 11:00am with Inurnment to follow at Moscow Plains Cemetery, Michael D. Mason officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of service.
