Walter Cross

Walter R. “Bud” Cross of Grass Lake, passed away at home December 23, 2021 age 81 years.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rose Marie “Ree”, one daughter Tracy Evans of Jackson, two sons; Mark (Raquel) Cross of Jackson and Kevin Cross of Michigan Center, nine grandchildren Elizabeth Henderson, Nicholas Prus, Courtnie Coppernoll, Brandi Karasek, Jason Cross, Kevin Cross, Jr. Marissa (Jacob) Kilgore, Gina Cross and Rocco Cross, eight great-grandchildren, one brother Timothy (Sharon) Cross of Napoleon, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one daughter Debra Bell, one brother and four sisters.  He graduated from Michigan Center High School, Class of 1960, retired from Ford Motor Co. after 31 years of service, was a Farrier for over 60 years and enjoyed hay baling on his farm in Grass Lake

According to his wishes Mr. Cross has been cremated, a memorial service will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Sunday January 9, 2022 at 1:00pm Michael D. Mason officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of the service.  Friends who wish may make contributions to Henry Ford Allegiance Home Health Care 100 E.
