Virginia (Jenny) Mae Brown (Groves), 89 years old, of Spring Meadows in Jackson Mi., formerly of Romney, WV and Waterville, Ohio, went to be with our Lord and Savior and with the love of her life William (Bill) Brown, on Nov. 12, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital. Virginia also known as Jenny or Ginny, always enjoyed a “Hot” game of cards, BINGO days and eating out with family and friends. There wasn’t a road trip she didn’t like. Virginia enjoyed trips to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and traveling to her beloved West Virginia. Virginia was the daughter of Raymond and Lilly Groves, born on Feb. 4, 1931 in Masontown, West Virginia. She is survived by her children: Sharon (Darrell) Fanning, Sandra Brown, Sue (Charles) Woodburn. Her Grandchildren: Heather (Nathan) Mackey, Meghan (Earl) Henderson, Sean (Stacy) Robertson, Shane (Staci) Robertson, Jody (Rodney Michael) Hollenbaugh, and Joshua (Erica) Woodburn. 13 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great, Great Grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years William (Bill) Brown. Virginia’s wishes were to have a visitation which will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel, on Spring Arbor Road, in Jackson MI, Nov. 16, 2020, from 2-5:00 p.m. An interment will be held at Beverly Hills Cemetery at 1290 Fairmont Road, Morgantown W.V. on Nov. 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
