Virginia Bissell

Of Horton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family May 16, 2021 age 86 years.  She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gale, one daughter, Judy (John) McGauley, one son Lewis Bissell, all of Horton, three grandchildren; Jennifer Kinstle, Gale (Katie) Faley and Matthew Bissell, four great-grandchildren; Maddison, Miranda, Alex and Riley, two great-great-grandchildren Oakley and Virginia, Special Niece and nephew, Bonnie Lou Wood and Russell Bissell. Preceded in death by one son Richard Tanks. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family and friends. Ginny took great joy for 36 years straight in always making sure her husband had his breakfast before the start of each day. Known as everyone’s  “Grandma Ginny” she will be missed by those who knew her.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Michael D. Mason officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice One Jackson Square 4th Floor, Jackson, MI 49201

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of service.
