Victoria "Vicki" Anne (DenHerder) Bowzer

Victoria Anne “Vicki” (DenHerder) Bowzer of Jackson, our loving wife, mother, and grandmother died peacefully with her family by her side on May 17, 2022 at the age of 74.  Born August 13, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Margaret “Peggy” and Rodney “Rod” DenHerder.  Vicki was a 1965 graduate of Parkside High School and attended M.S.U. from 1965-1968.  Vicki married James Michael Bowzer on May 24, 1969. Vicki was the owner-operator of R.J. DenHerder & Associates with over 30 years in the Real Estate business.  She was a member of the Jackson Board of Realtors.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jackson.  She enjoyed golf, playing cards-Bridge, spending time and traveling with family, and social dinner club with good friends.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, James Michael Bowzer; son, Jason Bowzer; son & daughter-in-law, Jaret & Elizabeth Bowzer; 4 grandchildren, Tyler Bowzer, Brandon Bowzer, Joshua Bowzer, and Cameron Bowzer; sister, Mary & Michael Bassnett; brothers-in-law, Tim & Kathy Bowzer, and Richard & Barb Bowzer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret McCorkle.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 23, in the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson with Pastor Ed Ross officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel.  Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Vicki.
