Thomas Robert Conway, age 28, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on May 13, 2021.
Tommy is survived by his mother Beth (Daniel Dunigan, Sr.) Conway, father Kevin "Kip" Conway, sister Erin (Joshua) Crenshaw, brother Andrew Conway, nephew Jameson Crenshaw, grandparents Robert and Dolores Puckey, aunts and uncles, Cherie (Daniel) Evans, Timothy (Linda) Puckey, Dennis Puckey, Mark (Tracey) Conway, and James (Beth) Conway, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends he adored. Tommy was preceded in death by grandparents Thomas Conway and Mary Lou Conway-Johnson.
Tommy grew up in Jackson, Michigan and Brighton, Michigan. He graduated from Lumen Christi Catholic High School in Jackson, where he excelled at golf and hockey. As a sophomore, he received the MIGCA Super Team Accolade for being one of the 6 best golfers in the State of Michigan across any division. He later attended Eastern Michigan University on a golf scholarship.
Most recently, Tommy discovered a passion for the construction industry. He was an instrumental artisan of The Bouvier Bridge RV Resort, a ground up development in which he took great pride.
Tommy was larger than life. With his boyish grin and contagious laugh he made any ledge his stage and everyone from oldest to youngest instantly felt include—he never met a stranger. A “give the shirt off your back” kind of guy. Tommy loved unconditionally. We will dearly miss his infections smile and his unfailing sense of humor.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11am at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 1111 Carlton Blvd, Jackson with Father Tim MacDonald officiating. The family will receive friends at the Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 5-7pm with the Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm and on Monday at the church beginning at 10am until the time of service.
