Thomas Edward Anderson

Thomas “Tom” Edward Anderson passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.  Born in Evanston, IL, on January 21, 1948, he and his family moved to Jackson, MI, when he was still young.

Tom graduated from St. Mary High School in 1966 and Michigan State University in 1970.  After a brief period in the U.S. Army, he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1976.  From a young age, Tom took an avid interest in U.S. and world history and current events.  He was a devoted fan of Michigan State football and basketball.

He is preceded in death by his beloved partner Cheryl Conrad, his parents Robert Anderson, Mary Clancy Lentz, and Charles Lentz, and his nephew Charles Scheid.  He is survived by his son, Nick Ebinger of Ypsilanti, MI, his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Dan Scheid of Princeton, NJ, and his nieces Anna Butler and Clancy (David) August.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held later this summer.
