Theron A Hicks

Hicks, Theron A., of Jackson, passed away September 11, 2025 age 88 years.  He is survived by his wife Karen, one daughter Kathi Wilhelm, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three step-daughters and one step-son; Gale Reed, Kathy Connell, Susan (Tom) Lindermulder and Jeffery Connell, two brothers; Michael (Barbara) Hicks and Randolph (Nancy) Hicks, numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry has always had a joke for everything.  In his younger years, he loved to fish.  He proudly served in the Army National Guard for six years and was active in the New Apostolic Church for many years.  He traveled extensively throughout the US from Maine to California and in Europe; and he was always ready for a road trip or to attend events with family and friends.  Terry retired from Consumers Power Company after 35 years and later worked for Novak Engineering.  He and his wife, Karen, enjoyed winters in their home in The Villages in Florida for 24 years, spending their time there dancing, golfing, and simply walking or driving their golf cart for shopping, or just plain sight seeing.  He enjoyed music and could play a tune on his collection of many instruments but was most proficient on the harmonica. 

Mr. Hicks is at the Watson Funeral Chapel where services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm with visitation from 11:00am until the time of service. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Reverend Ryan Tietsema, officiating.
