Terry Lee Good passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the age of 77. He was born to Herbert Walter and Bette (Robinson) Good on August 14, 1946, in Jackson, Michigan.
Terry is survived by his loving wife and life partner Sandra (Sandie Kosinski) Good, who he married on October 18, 1969. They were blessed with 55 years of togetherness. Terry is also survived by their daughter, Heather Burns (Allen Woodrum), their son, Jason Good, and Heather's children Brianna and Alec Burns. Also surviving are his special sister, Jeanne Lee and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Terry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Consumers Energy after a good career of 36 years. After his retirement, Terry thoroughly enjoyed monthly lunches with other Consumers Retirees known as "The Gassers".
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Linda Aguilar-Breedlove (Columbus) and his brother-in-law, Mike Lee. He also wanted his furry friends Muffy, Buster, and Kali to be lovingly mentioned.
Terry truly was a "good man" with a big heart who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to those in need. Terry will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him, spending time with him, and loving him.
Terry wanted to share these last thoughts with us. "I did the best I could, not always successfully, but I tried."
According to Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Watson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M. before the 11:00 A.M. service, with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the John George Home or Interfaith Shelter in Terry's name.
