Obituary
94, of Jackson went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 under the loving care of her son, Jeffrey (Margaret) Schoendorf. Suzanne is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leo Schoendorf; daughter, Catherine; and father, Kenneth Pratt.
She was born September 20, 1928. Suzanne is survived by her siblings, Nancy Hassett, Joann (David) Hayt, and Janis Pratt; her sons, Jeffrey (Margaret) Schoendorf, and Michael (Sharon) Schoendorf; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Elara Caring for their wonderful hospice care of Sue, especially Nurse Robin and Personal Aid Rhonda, and the rest of the team who helped in Sue’s passing, and to Allison (Dale) Hunt, who spent many days and nights helping to care for Suzanne.
A graveside memorial will be held at a later date at St. John Catholic Cemetery, where Suzanne and Joseph will be joined together. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church in Jackson, MI.
