Of Brooklyn, MI passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the age of 77. He was the son of Harold Dunlap and Maxine Ellis, born May 25, 1946 in Jackson, MI. Dudley is survived by his daughter, Danielle (Matt) Thornberg; two grandchildren, Jaxon and Thea Thornberg; brother, Richard (Bonnie) Dunlap; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Ron Deren, Chuck and Connie Lewis, and Steven Mclear. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Harold Dunlap Jr. Dudley graduated from Parma Western High School. After high school, he joined the United States Navy where he served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he attended Jackson Community College where he received an Associates Degree. After his schooling, he worked and retired after 31 years from Consumers Energy as a Lead Lineman. Dudley loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, watching football and TV. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will be held next spring or early summer.
