Steven Douglas Wilkinson

Steven Douglas Wilkinson of Jackson, our loving brother, uncle, and nephew unexpectedly passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at home.  Born December 28, 1968 in Jackson, Michigan the son of Donald E. and Shirley A. Wilkinson.  Steve was a 1987 graduate of Jackson High School.  He was a dedicated employee, working at the Jackson Citizen Patriot and Kroger.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, and watching classic TV shows.

Surviving are his 3 sisters and 1 brother, Kelley Sue (David) Lady, Kimberley Anne Shelby, Scott Michael Wilkinson, and Kendra Lynn (Paul) Keranen; 12 nieces and nephews; 9 great nieces and great nephews; aunt, Sheila Wendorf; aunt and uncle, Sharon & Donald Calbert; and many other family members and friends.  Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Shirley.

The Celebration of Steve’s life will be Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12pm at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI  49203.  There will be visitation from 11am until the time of service.   Rev. Kerry Taylor-Snyder, pastor of the First Congregational Church, will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in memory of Steve.
