Of Cement City, Michigan, formerly of Monroeville, Indiana passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 70. Steven was the son of Robert L. and Jean C. (Gaskill) Beauchot, born April 25, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is survived by his step-son, Stephen Mattice; step mother; two brothers; two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a graduate of Monroeville High School in Monroeville, Indiana. Steve served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After service, he attended Ivy Tech Collage with two years marketing and business managing. Steven’s working career started at Dana Corporation, General Products, U.N.I.C.O.R. Corporation, finishing at International Milling Services. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, feeding the birds and being outdoors. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed by those who knew him. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
