Stanley Mitts Obituary

Stanley Kenneth Mitts went into the arms of Jesus Friday night, June 11, 2021 at the age of 87. He was born to Mailon and Clara Mitts in Norfolk County, Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada on December 4, 1933. Stan is survived by his wife, Marjorie; four daughters, Dawn Mitts Ashford of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Debra (Larry) Chapman of Simcoe, Ontario, Laurie (Terry) Bouck of Pt. Rowan, Ontario, and Jennifer (Ray) White of Kitchener Ontario; and one sister, Ruby Weston of Hampton Ontario. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Darrell Mitts; grandson, Jason Mitts; brother, George Mitts; three sisters, Hazel (Maurice) Dely, Mildred (Ivan) Rohrer, Helen (Wilfred) Graham; and brother in-law, Bill Weston.

Stan was a member of the Arbor Church in Spring Arbor, MI. He was the owner of Stan Mitts Signs. Art and designing were his life’s passion. His greatest treasure and hope is his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A celebration of his life will be held at the Arbor Church in Spring Arbor, MI on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00am with Pastor Darold L. Hill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Gideons International through the memorial card program or the The Arbor Church, Men of Faith in Action.
