Sally Rae Williams, 86, of Jackson, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She was born in Traverse City, MI on December 19, 1934 to the late Wilbur and Mabel Stafford. Sally is survived by her children, Kim Sawyer (Robert), Mike Williams (Tami), and Terry Williams (Lynne), grandchildren Heidi Frisbie (Jason), Robyn Colton (Mark), Lauren Allen (Jake), Melissa Robinson (Tyler), Kelsie Guy (Josh), Austin Bovia and Caiti Bovia, eight great-grandchildren, special niece Kate Phillips and special friend Bonnie Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James, brother Richard Stafford and sister Jean Phillips. Sally was a homemaker and devoted mother, and attended Arbor Grove Congregational Church. She was an avid reader, accomplished seamstress and enjoyed knitting. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place to commemorate her life.
