Age 93 of Parma, Michigan passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020. She was born June 28, 1926 to A. Frank and Madge (Luscomb) Quivey in Sandstone Township and lived at a Parma, MI address all her life. She died of a stroke with her loving family at her bedside. She graduated from Parma High School in 1944. On October 20, 1946 she married Frank R. Wellman and had 58 ½ years together before Frank passed away in 2005. Also preceded in death by Daniel (Dennis’s twin) at infancy. Surviving are her children- son, Dennis (Annette) Wellman of Parma, three daughters, Suzanne (Doug) Huber of Cement City, Jacklyn (Denis) Murray of Clarklake, Janice (Randy) Jarchow of Jackson; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker, made over 100 wedding cakes and loved to bake and sew. Ruth was a member of the Sarah Treat Prudden Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, North Parma Countryside Club and North Parma United Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place with a private burial. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
