Rosemary L. Bailey

Of Allen, MI passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of Herbert and Hazel (Wilmer) Rice, born June 21, 1930 in Morley, MI. Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Andy Bailey; daughters, Patty Maples, Joyce (Richard) Davis, Janet Cuellar, Marcia (Pete) Specht, Patricia (Tim) Marks, and Sandy (Richard) Vaughn; 34 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Helen, John, and Elaine. She was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Ross Tasker, and Randy (Pat) Bailey; her parents; and siblings, Marion, Herb, Dan, Kathleen, Carol and Tommy. She was a member of Friendship Temple #161 Pythian Sisters and the Allen Area Historical Society. Rosemary loved to knit and crochet for her family, and watch the dancing trees. She was a loving wife and caregiver for her husband and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Parma Chapel, 10661 W. Michigan Ave, Parma on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:00am with Pastor Frank Snyder and Tony Cuellar officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hillsdale Hospice or Allen Area Historical Society.

The family will receive friends at the Watson Parma Chapel on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 4:00-7:00pm and on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of service.
