Ronald George  “Ron” Jenkins

Our loving dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away with his family at his side on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.  Born June 13, 1940 in Jackson, MI.  Ron retired from Melling Tool Company after 46 years of service.  Ron fiercely loved his family.  He was a unique personality with a heart of pure gold. He was a devoted Michigan sports fan, especially of U of M Football!

Surviving are his son, Todd (Holly) Jenkins; 4 grandchildren, Tyler (Elissa) Bowman, Jordan (Annie) Bowman, Savannah (Logan) Everett, and Blade (Savannah) Jenkins; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Shelly) Jenkins; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Ron was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Ann in 2020; parents, George & Marion Jenkins; 3 sisters, Sharon Sharpers, Connie DuBois, and Sally Herr.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, evening Aug. 19th and 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug 20th prior to the service at the funeral chapel.   The celebration of Ron’s Life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd., Jackson, MI 49203 with Deacon Ric Misiak presiding.  Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery.  Please express your condolences to the family at www.watson-funeral-chapels.com.
