Rolf Sorensen Obituary

71, of Parma, MI passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. Rolf was the son of Waldemar and Luise Sorensen, born January 25, 1947 in Achim, Germany. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandie; two daughters, Rebecca Lambert and Stephanie Hernadez; son, Timothy Sorensen, and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Rolf worked for Consumers Power for 23 years, and as a substitute teacher at Western, Springport, and Albion School Districts. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with grandkids, going to Cascade Park with his wife, tending to his lawn and garden, and tinkering with his tractor and cars. The family would like to thank all the people at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home for all the love and support they gave them. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
