Roger Allen Farmer

Roger Allen Famer of Jackson, MI, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at the age of 82. Roger was the son of Edward and Ruth (Hicks) Farmer, born on March 14,1939 in Albion, MI. He was preceded in death by his first wife Aileen Farmer; his second wife Carol Farmer; his daughter Marjorie Farmer; and his sister Joyce (Farmer) Stuart. He is survived by his son Kent (Kathy); his grandchildren David and Thomas Stansel; and his brother Jim (Janet) Farmer. Roger was a graduate of Parma High School and spent the majority of his working career with Hendrickson’s Trucking. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Worthy Advisor of the Order of Eastern Stars. Roger enjoyed camping and gardening. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Parma Masonic Lodge #183, 100 W Main St, Parma, MI on Saturday, October 23, at 11:00am with Michael D. Mason officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parma Masonic Lodge #183.The family will receive friends at the Parma Masonic Lodge #183 on Saturday, October 23, at 10:00am until the time of service.
