Robert Charles Williston, age 34, died in his home in Lansing, MI on January 25, 2021. He was a 2005 graduate of Eaton Rapids High School. He was the beloved son of Michael and Anne Williston. He is survived by his parents, his loving girlfriend April Spiekhout, his beloved dog Nelly, his siblings Katherine, Daniel, Kelsey, and Zachary Williston, his nephew, cousins, and many friends.
Robby was never afraid to be himself. He had a contagious charm that let anyone know they were welcome and free to be weird right along with him. Robby would move mountains to be there for a friend or family member in distress and through every step of his all too short life, he was a source of wisdom and encouragement for those who needed it most. Through determination and love for himself and others, he maintained a sober lifestyle in the midst of a core group that needed his example in their lives.
He was a bowler, an avid bang drinker, a memer, cartoon enthusiast, hardcore gamer, headbanger, fashion icon, pit viper connoisseur, self-taught skateboard punk, and golfing nut. He struggled with fantasy football but loved the game, and was a yoyoing fiend. He had a sick-ass tennis serve, knew how to party, collected some cool ass shit like guns and 80s and 90s gear, and late-night raider. He just loved ridiculous shit. He was a loyal, compassionate, honest man with a bombtastic laugh who was always willing to help out his friends or family.
Robby passed away at a time he was happier than ever before with a beautiful life ahead of him. He will be missed by countless lives.
