Robert Eugene Crouch went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2025, at the age of 85. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his children: Bobby Crouch, Brigitte (Dale) Stevens, Michelle (Maz) Fatahi, Perry (Semoine) Atkins, Tina (Scott) Malec, Chris Atkins, Karen Wheeler, Kelly (Lori) Atkins, and April Hobbins and her fiancé Tim Omlor; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Josephine; his parents; and his twin brother, Richard.
Robert was proud to serve his country, dedicating 22 years to military service in the United States Army and the Michigan National Guard. He was a passionate sportsman who enjoyed both bowling and golf, achieving remarkable accomplishments later in life, including a perfect 300 game and a hole-in-one in his 60s.
A lifelong supporter of Detroit sports, Robert rarely missed a Lions, Tigers, or Red Wings game.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and Friday, September 12, 2025 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am located at Watson Funeral Chapel 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson. There will be military honors following the service.
