Rita Isobel Comeau

Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the age of 78.

She was born February 26, 1947 in Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom. Rita was raised in Wales, coming to Long Island, New York at age 19 in 1966. She met Thomas, while he was serving with the U.S. Air Force, in Las Vegas in 1972. They married on November 16, 1974. She retired from Sears Automotive Center as a salesperson, where she helped people with servicing their automobile for over 20 years. She loved playing and teaching piano, crocheting, working cross word puzzles, gardening, and reading.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Thomas A. Comeau; 2 daughters, Jennifer Comeau Bickers, and Gwen (Randy) Simeon; 4 grandchildren, Dylan Bickers, Taylor Bickers, Ava Simeon, and Quinn Simeon; her brother John in Wales; and many other family members and friends. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Simpson) Perkins and James J. Perkins.

The Celebration of Rita’s Life will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Watson Parma Funeral Chapel, 10661 Michigan Ave. Parma, Michigan 49269.
