Richard Anthony Schoch

Schoch, Richard A. of Jackson, Michigan passed away at the age of 61 on March 3rd, 2019 after losing his hard-fought battle to cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.  Born on April 14th, 1957 in Jackson, MI. He is survived by his mother Suzanne W. Gaertner, daughter Kara (Gregory) Bynum, granddaughter Marlie Mae Bynum, sister Kelly (Scott) Brockie, niece Brett (Kyle) Brousseau, great nephew Berkley Brousseau, niece Brittany Brockie and special friend Margot Talbert.  Rich was a Jackson High School graduate. He was one of the best builders/jack-of-all trades in the Jackson area and was the project manager at CMF. Rich enjoyed all different kinds of racing, off-roading, and snowmobiling. He loved being at his home in the woods and taking trips to northern Michigan.  A celebration of his life will be held Friday, March 8th, 2019 at Forty Nine South (2527 Helena Ave. Jackson, MI 49203) from 5-8PM. Food and drinks will be served. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to Marlie Mae Bynum’s college fund at CP Federal Credit Union.
