Randall L Magness

Randall Louis Magness (Randy) of Concord, MI., age 71 years, passed away peacefully at Henry Ford Health Hospital in Detroit, surrounded by his loving family on May 27, 2026.  He was born on October 1, 1954, at Riverside Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.  Randy was the son of Bill Dalton Magness and Barbara Nell (Henderson) Magness.  Randy was a 1972 graduate of Concord High School.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rhonda Faye Magness (sister), and Christopher Allan Magness (son).  He is survived by his wife Lucinda (Cindy) A. (Ward) Magness and three beautiful daughters; Jaime (Jason) Collins, Sarah Wojciechowski, and Stephanie Magness.  Grandchildren Makenna TerBush, Leyton TerBush, Skylar Wojciechowski, Brandon Wojciechowski, Silas Cunningham, Elsie Cunningham, Miles Benson, and Lucy Benson.  Also, Russell (Joni) Magness, brother.  Randy worked at the Party Store and McMasters during high school and 39 years at Jim Winter Buick in Jackson as a service writer, retiring September 2019, as a Service Manager.  Randy loved his golf, often playing in two leagues and traveling golf with friends.  He had his first hole in one on a par three during high school at Whiffle Tree Golf Course and a second one later in life.  Randy also loved fast cars especially his Hell Cat, woodworking, traveling to the Hawiian Islands, working on Home Improvements, and a very good Handyman.  A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Concord Presbyterian Church, located at 201 Hanover St. in Concord.  Visitation will be at 1:30, service at 2:00 p.m., followed by dinner at Concord Hills Golf Course 7331 Pulaski Road, Concord, MI.  Interment will be a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord.  Clergy Officiating; Pastor Steve Kaszar.  Memorial Donations may be made to Concord Presbyterian Church.
