Phyllis Wilber Obituary

Of Spring Arbor, MI passed away peacefully in the loving hands of Heartland Hospice on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the age of 90. Phyllis was the daughter of Andrew and Chloe (Anderson) Scarberry, born December 27, 1929 in Columbus, OH. She is survived by two daughters, Denise Divitto and Lynn (Oscar) Hightower; granddaughter, Tess Hightower. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Howard “Mike” Wilber; her parents; seven brothers and sisters, Beatrice, Hollis, Kenneth, Forrest, Delores, Vivian, and Donald. She was an active member of the Hillside Church. Phyllis spent her last years enjoying life at The Oaks and Spring Arbor Assisted Living. Many friends and staff at both will miss Phyllis the social butterfly. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hillside United Methodist Church.
