Maloney, Patsy G. (Spivey), of Parma, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at the age of 80.
She was born on May 27, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of Luther and Margaret (McMullen) Spivey.
Pat was a graduate of Thurston High School, Class of 1964. While working at General Motors Hydramatic, she met her beloved husband of 40 years, Michael Maloney. They were both members of the U.A.W local 735.
Together they enjoyed music concerts, gardening, bowling, boating, fishing, and bonfires at their up-north cabin with family and friends. Pat cherished all her grandchildren and loved celebrating holidays at home, especially the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
She is survived by her brother, Michael (Donna) Spivey; brother, Ronald (Carol) Spivey; Sister-in-law, Mary (Doug) Sharp, sons, Mark Speros, Damon (Myra) Speros, and Jason Speros; bonus daughters, Michelle (Steve) Pratt and Kristi Maloney; nine grandchildren, Dominic, Gianna, Tristan, Mara, Ava, Aydin, Emre, Evren, and Cyan; eight nieces and nephews, Krista, Steve, John, Alyssa, Amanda, Michele, Scott, and Keith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Maloney, her parents, Luther and Margaret Spivey, Mother-in-law, Ruth Maloney and nephew, Keith Spivey.
Pat will be remembered for her unconditional love and will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of her life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, Michigan on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm with her brother Michael Spivey leading the service. A private Inurnment will take place following the service. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
