Patricia Tuttle Obituary

Patricia “Pat” Ann Tuttle, surrounded by her loving family, passed away on Friday December 5, 2025. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 55 years, John Sr., and their cherished sons: John Jr. (wife Andrea, children Reyn and Jay) and Adam (wife Julie, children Addy and Zoe). Pat is also survived by her sisters, Carolyne, Marti, and brother Bud (wife Linda), along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jacqueline Thoman; in-laws Glenn and Mildred Tuttle; brother-in-law Bob; and grandson Jack.

She loved and was actively involved in her community, serving as the president of the Tompkins Historical Society for nine years. She enjoyed supporting the “Tompkins Pullers”, particularly manning her old Tiger Stadium hot dog cart at their events. Pat was also proud of her role as a seminary teacher for six years and a counselor in the Relief Society at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Growing up in Tompkins Center, Pat enjoyed a childhood filled with love and a strong work ethic instilled by her wonderful parents. She remembered and spoke fondly of her time participating in 4-H events, where she formed cherished memories that lasted a lifetime. Her horse, Bingo, held a special place in her heart, and she recalled the fun and laughter shared with her sisters and brother during their rodeo days at their childhood home on the corner of M-50 and Minard Road.

Born on Mother's Day, Pat was her mother’s greatest gift, a sentiment she cherished throughout her life. She attended the Tompkins two-room school and graduated from Northwest Schools in 1967, where she formed lifelong friendships that continued to enrich her life.

Pat’s life was dedicated to family, and she adored her grandchildren. She was so proud to support them in all of their activities, spending countless hours at their many events that she would travel near and far to attend. Her warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and service to family, faith, and community will endure in the hearts of her loved ones.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 11th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 3019 W Morrell Street in Jackson, to honor Pat's life and the impact she had on those around her. Visitation will take place from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by the service from 1 PM to approximately 2 PM. A luncheon will be provided for food and fellowship while the family departs for a short private interment at Tompkins Cemetery before returning to the luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tompkins Center Historical Society at tompkinscenterhistorical.org.
