Patricia Jo Papaioannou

Patricia Jo Papaioannou, of Jackson, MI passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the age of 79. Pat is survived by her daughters Tracy (Terry) Saylor, Robyn (Rick Weaver) Papaioannou and Jana (Steve) Terry; grandchildren Joshua Saylor, Sydney (Josh) Lowder, Brooke Terry, Brett Terry and Blake Terry; great grandchild Sawyer Lowder.  Also surviving is her nephew Richard Papaioannou, nieces Laurie Mott and Lisa Davis, and her best friend Colleen (Tony) Phillips.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Pete Papaioannou, her son Daniel Papaioannou, her father Joseph Palma, her mother Anna Palma, and her brother Anthony Palma.  Pat went to Browns College of New York and after moving to Michigan, worked and retired from Northwest Schools. Pat was an avid supporter and champion of her three girls and her grandchildren, who thoroughly enjoyed her wit and sense of humor.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished family time. She enjoyed helping others and animals in need and will always be known as Patti Poole to those who knew her best. Pat lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Watson’s Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Rd, Jackson, MI 49203.  A special thank you to The Hospice Home of Jackson for their care and compassion during Pat’s final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cascades Humane Society.
