Patricia Ann Marks

On September 19, 2023 at the age of 72, Patricia Ann Marks of Jackson MI
was met by Jesus saying, “Welcome home Pat. I’ve been waiting for you.”
Jesus has been her Savior and Lord since she was 16 yrs old. Since then,
Pat was always a positive person, kind and helpful, caring for her family
above herself and lovingly devoted to her husband, Tim Marks, for 52
years. She had a deep bond with her dad, Andy Bailey who has preceded
her in death along with her brother, Randy Bailey. She will be dearly
missed by her sister Sandy Vaughn (Sis) along with the rest of her family
and close friends.
Pat was very creative and artistic since she was young. She loved to paint
landscapes and animals, especially birds. Pat had a great sense of humor
and when you would visit there would usually be sarcasm and laughter.
She enjoyed bingo with friends, watching the Tigers with Tim and just
enjoying being together. Pat and Tim together devoted themselves for 10
years as parents caring for 7 children at the VFW National Home. 
Pat was definitely a giver providing many meals for those she knew needed
it or giving a loving craft that she created. She loved deeply those who
called her “Aunt Pat” and was always concerned about them and their lives.
The neighbor children loved to visit Pat and show her their beautiful
drawings they made for her and receive her praises and of course a
treat. All who knew Pat well were blessed by her sweet spirit and an
encouraging word. Now she’s in heaven, doing the same thing, blessing
others. She will never be forgotten, and we thank God to have known her
and to be loved by her!

A viewing and celebration of life will be held at Watson Funeral Chapel,
2590 Spring Arbor Rd., Jackson MI on Sunday Sept. 24, 2023 from 2:30 –
5:00 pm with sharing of memories together at 4:00pm.
