Maxine Loeine McCarrell

Maxine Loeine McCarrell, age 94, of Jackson, MI went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Maxine was the daughter of Millard and Dorothy Ordway, born October 7, 1928 in Jackson, MI. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Robert McCarrell; children, David (Nancy) McCarrell, Mark (Lisa) McCarrell, and Sharon (Doug) Moxon; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandson; sister, Janet Croghan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her son, Paul McCarrell; her parents; siblings, Virginia Greaige, Gloria Siefka, and Elwyn Ordway. She was a graduate of Jackson High School Class of 1947. Maxine worked for Jackson Drop Forge for over 25 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Together We Make a Difference or Henry Ford Hospice Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service.
