Mary Louise Williamson

Williamson, Mary Louise ff Jackson, MI went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the young age of 98. She was the daughter of Ernest and Mary (Ennis) Turffs born on March 20, 1926 in Chicago, IL. Mary is survived by her children Mary Paula (Phillip) Moore, Thomas (Kim) Williamson; grandchildren Jennifer (Barry), Anthony (Paige), Joseph (Courtney), Kristine, Dana (Ross), Patrick (Marina); great-grandchildren Grace, Olivia, Aiden, Ethan, Everett, and Pete, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Paul; her infant son; three brothers and a sister. Mary graduated from Proviso High School and went on to earn an Associate’s degree from Spring Arbor Junior College. She spent the majority of her working career as a homemaker, substitute teacher, and a manager at Spring Arbor College’s snack bar. Mary was a member at Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church for over 80 years and was actively involved in many jobs in the church. She enjoyed traveling, visiting family, reading, and crocheting for infants at the hospital. A Celebration of her Life will take place at The Arbor Church, 120 E Main St, Spring Arbor, MI on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Allen officiating. Interment will be at Spring Arbor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
