Mary Nell Terrian of Jackson, passed away September 5, 2022 age 90 years. Born July 18, 1932 in Hancock, MI the daughter of Earl and Eleanor (Hagert) Richings. Mary always loved the Hancock area. She graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit, where she sang in the choir. She married William on September 1, 1951 and together they raised their family, moving to Jackson in 1961. She worked at Mercy Hospital and was a co-founder of the Childbirth Preparation Service. She worked as a secretary at Unity Church. She was a Girl Scout Leader. She was a Hospice volunteer. She enjoyed reading, and had a talent for music, playing piano and singing. Fall vacations up north were a favorite.
She is survived by three daughters and one son, Michele (David) Robinson of Beulah, MI, Renee Snedeker, Annette (Tim) Anulewicz and Eric Terrian (Karen Baker), all of Jackson, 11 grandchildren: Jenn (Chris) Pick, David (Kim) Knibloe, Will (Leslie) Knibloe, Jon (Gi) Knibloe, Ashley (Peter) Igoe, Alexis Robinson, Melissa (Cody) McDaniels, Lisa (Leon) Lambert, Julie Bowie, Corey Anulewicz, and Josh Baker and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William E. and her son-in-law David Snedeker.
The celebration of Mary’s life will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 3, 2022 at JaxNaz (First Church of the Nazarene) 3905 Clinton Rd, Jackson, MI 49201 with Lead Pastor Bryce Gernand officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 A.M. Thursday at church. A special thank you to Southern Care Hospice and Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center.
