Mary E. Howe
Our loving mom, sister, and aunt passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023. Mary was born April 27, 1956 in Hillsdale, and grew up in Spring Arbor graduating from Western High School in 1974. She was a waitress for many years at Wheel Bar, end Zone, and Deer Run Golf Course. She enjoyed playing games—especially Yahtzee, reading, watching crime dramas, caring for her plants, spoiling her children and grand dogs with treats, but most of all she loved being outdoors.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Dan Casillo; her 2 grand dogs Chloe and Chase; sister, Sue (Don) Minick; brother, Alvan “Bud” (Patricia) Lange; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary was receded in death by her father, Alvan Lange; mother and step-father, Irene and Kenny Gilmore; 2 sisters, Karen Belden, and Betsy Lange.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, November 27, 2023 at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI. Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Cascades Humane Society.
