Mary Johanna Dailey of Jackson, MI went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the age of 83. She is the daughter of Anthony and Gertrude Long, born September 16, 1936 in Jackson, MI. Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John “Jack” Dailey; seven children, Cindy (Randy) Wrozek; Michael (the late Beth) Dailey; Liz (David) Drechnowicz; Doug (Joanne) Dailey; Jackie (Mark) Lincoln; Marianne (Bill) Thomas, and Lynn Cavanaugh (Andy Fries); twenty-two grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one sister, Pat (Jerry) Terry; one brother, John (Nan) Long; one cousin, Joe (Ann) Rumler; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tony Long Jr. Her faith and her family were most important in her life. In Mary Jo’s words, “Oh, dear God”. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul of Queen’s Parish or Lumen Christi Catholic School.
