Marlin McMinn Obituary

Marlin W. McMinn of Parma, Mi, our loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away at home with his family on April 20, 2022 at the age 76. Born October 4, 1945 in Herman, PA. Marlin retired from Spring Arbor University after 24 years of service. He also worked for Spring Arbor Township for over 15 years. He attended The Arbor Church. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Doris A. McMinn; 2 children, Matthew McMinn, and Rebecca “Shawn” (Jimi) Freed; 3 grandchildren, Tiffany (Mike Henley) McMinn, Kyle Jackson, and Dakota “Cody” Jackson; 2 great-grandchildren, Connor and Liam Detgen with 2 more on the way. Marlin was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Ethel McMinn. A Memorial Service will be held later this summer. Contributions may be made to the Free Methodist Mission through The Arbor Church, in memory of Marlin.
