Marge left this world to live eternally in the “presence of the Lord” on November 22, 2023 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Richard and Wilma Fleming, her brother Richard Fleming (Corky) and her son, Roger. She leaves behind her children that truly will miss her, Robin White (Frank), Robert Jr (Janell), Richard, (Teresa) and Russell. Her sisters, Jacqualine Korten and Dorothy Cutler, Sister in laws, Janet Fleming, Shirley Brittain and Phyllis Crabtree, she was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 17great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren, and also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Marge was a very spiritual, happy person. She loved God, family and people; she loved her Church and looked forward every year to making Chocolate Covered Easter Eggs. She loved gardening, painting landscapes, Knitting and doing ceramics. she always had a testimony; when someone would call or come to visit she always told them she loved them. Everyone she ran into she told them to “be blessed”.
Another saying of hers, “this too shall pass” and “it is what it is”. She loved to teach Sunday School and be used in any capacity in the Church Ministry where there was a need to further the Kingdom Of God. She would tell people that’s where we get rooted in Christ. Marge was definitely a leader and most of all a “servant” and finally got to hear the words, “well done thou good and faithful servant”.
If you had a birthday or anniversary, she made sure to send you a card or a small token to let you know that you were thought of and loved, you were not forgotten on your day.
To everyone that knew her there will be an empty place in their hearts.
She told us “that she would be better tomorrow” and she surely was, for she was in the arms of Jesus the day after. Her desire is to see all her family Saved and living with Jesus in their hearts and be reunited in Heaven.
We know she would want to thank the drs and staff at Hillsdale hospital, the staff at Borgess (were awesome) and the staff at Compassus (very compassionate staff). She will truly be missed by all those that knew her.
Per her request, cremation will take place and a private family graveside burial.
In lieu of flowers she would like you to donate to Quincy Todays Church of God (which she loved); Hillsdale hospital, Borgess Hospital or Compassus Hospice.
May God Bless you
