Marilyn Elaine Ross

Of Parma, MI passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the age of 94. She was the daughter of Russell and Louise (Worth) Weeks, born June 6, 1928 in Munith, MI. Marilyn is survived by her two children, Bruce (Nancy), and Barbara (Mike); grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric), Gina, Stacey (Henry), and Angie (Lynn); great-grandchildren, Conner, Kendall, Alayna, and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart of 62 ½ years, Bernard Ross; two sisters, Glenadine (Ray) Maistre, and Orrene (Verl) Kutt. Marilyn enjoyed cooking and owned Marilyn’s Lunch Restaurant in Parma, and was a cook at Woodville Elementary. She also worked in the Kids Department at Sears. Sewing and knitting were her favorite pastimes and she made 300 child size quilts for preschoolers while she spent her winters in Florida. Marilyn was a member of the North Parma United Methodist Church where she helped organize the Fall Festivals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Parma Chapel, 10661 W. Michigan Ave., Parma, MI on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Parma United Methodist Church.
