Marian Jennie Herl

Marian Jennie Herl of Rives Junction, MI passed away surrounded by family on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the age of 81. Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Clifford Herl; her parents, Ellery and Charlotte Skinkle. She is survived by her four children, Janice (Fred) Brownlee, Craig (Rebekah) Herl, Carl (Heather) Herl, and Karyn (Phillip) Beemer; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Marian was a graduate of Jackson High School Class of 1955. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful mother-in-law and the very best grandma. Marian’s kindness, generosity, and unconditional love has left a lasting legacy to her family.  The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. 

A graveside service will take place on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:00am at Jones Cemetery. The family request that those attending at the cemetery to please dress casual.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Maranatha Bible & Missionary Conference, 4759 Lake Harbor Rd., Norton Shores, MI 49441 or a charity of your choice.
