With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Lyle Cogan, a man whose infectious humor could light up any room. Lyle brought joy to everyone he met, filling even the most challenging days with laughter and warmth. His quick wit, kind spirit, and unwavering love for his family created a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Lyle, age 89, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on March 26, 2025.
Lyle was a hardworking and devoted man, pouring his heart into everything he did—his career, his friendships, and most of all, his family. As a father, he was a source of wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love. His four children—Sherri (Aaron) Phillips, William Cogan, Michael Cogan (Bruce McDonald), and David Cogan—will forever cherish his presence in their lives. His granddaughters, Lindsey (Jake) Arcand and Lacey Phillips (Jason Swisher), adored their grandfather, treasuring the stories he told, the lessons he shared, and the endless love he gave.
Though Lyle is no longer with us, his spirit remains woven into the laughter, love, and memories he leaves behind. While we grieve his loss, we find peace in knowing he is reunited with his beloved wife, Dianne, the love of his life. Together again, they are watching over their family, their bond unbroken.
Lyle will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and forever loved.
