Of Jackson, MI passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Vista Grande Villa at the age 98. She was the daughter of Frank and Maude (Allen) McPhee, born May 16, 1923 in Detroit, MI. Lucille is survived by three sons, Phillip Alan Ludos, Terrance William Ludos, and James Henry Ludos; four grandchildren, Phillip Andrew (Joanne) Ludos, Jeni Lucille (Carter) Griffen, Terilyn (Jac) Cornet, Tabitha Kay (Eric) Stiller; six great-grandchildren, Ashley Ludos, Britney Ludos, Anna Griffen, Skilar Cornet, Santana (Levi) Carnes, and Jaclyn Cornet; nine great-great-grandchildren, Liam Carnes, Brynlee Carnes, Tucker Stiller, Ethan Stiller, Connor, Cooper, Brooklyn, Blake Ludos, and Paisley; special friend, Lois Wielenga of Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester William Ludos; her parents; sister, Mary Scott; and daughter-in-law, Eileen Ludos. Lucille was a graduate of Cooley High School. She worked for Lincoln Motors and the Ford Motor Company. During the war she was a “Rosie the Riveter” in the factory. Lucille was a trained singer, who made records, sang for weddings and events. Most notable she sang twice in front of Elanor Roosevelt. Lucille loved to garden, tend her flowers, sing, play the piano, and spend time with her family and church friends. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 3:00pm with Joseph Baker officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband during a private interment at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
