LuAnna G Daane

LuAnna Grace Daane, age 79, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2025. She was born on November 6, 1946, and lived a life filled with love, resilience, and kindness.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, son-in-law, one brother, nieces, nephews, four stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandson and many dear friends who enriched her life with companionship and joy. Luanna was widowed a second time earlier this year. LuAnna grew up in Hudson, Michigan, and after graduating high school, she moved to Jackson to study at the Jackson Business Institute. She spent several years volunteering for people with cognitive disabilities, making sure that they were celebrated and had thoughtful gifts. LuAnna also enjoyed volunteering for the Ella Sharp Museum by repairing antique beaded purses and hats. She was known for her warm, giving, talented, artistic spirit, blooming gardens, and the ability to make everyone feel valued. Her giggle at a good joke or prank and wisdom of so many things will be remembered by all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and I think that she would like you all to go and buy yourself flowers or plant a tree in the spring.
