LuAnn Pengra

LuAnn Pengra passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 at home in Horton, Michigan after a long battle with cancer at the age of 63. LuAnn was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 18, 1956. She is survived by her husband, Jon Pengra of 28 years; son, Jon Reardon and Fiancee, Tara Smith; stepdaughter Karey (Craig) Dryer; stepson, Scott (Jen) Pengra; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Abbott and Jeff (Kim) Abbott; sister, Kelly Miller. LuAnn was preceded in death by her parents Lillie and Jim Miller. LuAnn was a graduate of Western High School and Baker College with her Associates degree. She worked at the Western Option Center for 25 years as a Paraprofessional. She enjoyed cross stitching, antiques and helping out at the nursery at the Option Center. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial visitation will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Jackson on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Inurnment will be at Spring Arbor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of LuAnn, may be made to Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Drive, Jackson, Michigan 49202.
