It is with profound sadness that the family of Lori Diane Dillon (Jones) announces her passing on April 8, 2025, at the age of 63, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health conditions.
Lori was born in Flint, Michigan on October 20, 1961 and was a graduate of Northwest High School.
She is survived by her three children: Amanda (Andy) Phelps, Ryan Fitch, and Justin (Ashlee) Fitch; as well as her grandchildren, Leila and Jensen Phelps. She is also survived by her mother, Annette Jones and sister, Linda Halasz. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Jim Jones and brother, Steven Jones.
Lori was a nurturer who took great pride and joy in raising her children and being “Gigi” to her grandchildren. She had a deep love for animals, especially her cherished guinea pig, Cooper. Lori made the world a more beautiful place through her gift of gardening. She loved growing vibrant blooming flowers.
Her absence will be deeply felt by many, and she will be greatly missed. Her love, laughter, and warmth will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
