Lin recently passed over the horizon into Eternal Life. She was born in Detroit and spent most of her childhood there. She graduated from Birmingham High School. Lin graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Most of her nursing career was spent in Nursing Education and Public Health. She was the mother of her 2 surviving children, Susan and Matthew (Laura), and a niece, Cheryl (Dale). Lin was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and an infant daughter. Lin has lived in the Jackson area since 1967 where she enjoyed Country living. Her health required Lin to move to Vista Grande Ville in 2017, where she met many new friends, and rekindled many old ones. She was an avid reader and knitter. She had many interests and hobbies during her life. Lin was a licensed instrument pilot and taught Aviation Ground School at J.C.C. She was active on many committees and activities. She was a member of First United Methodist Church as well as A.A.U.W. Lin had many serious health challenges, but lived life with gusto until the final challenge. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of her Life will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11AM at First United Methodist Church, 275 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI. Please enter through the south entrance where all typical screening COVID procedures will be in place including temperature checks and registering attendance for possible tracing. Masks and social distancing will be required in the church building at all times.
