Leonard F. Cook Jr.

Leonard F. Cook Jr. of Parma, MI went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 77. He was the son of Leonard and Valeta (Snow) Cook Sr., born March 29, 1945 in Jackson, MI. Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Cook; their children, Greg (Danielle Leithauser) Cook, Jeff (Amanda) Cook, and Nikki (Rich) VanDaele; eight grandchildren, Parker, Aidyn, Micah, Grace, Mikayla, Diego, Lily, and Rylie; two sisters, Valerie (Alwin) Hall and Susan Josephson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Leonard was a graduate of Western High School and the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. He enjoyed being outdoors in nature and taking care of his lawn. Leonard loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and dog, Bear.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at the Spring Life Church, 9421 Benn Road, Parma, MI 49269 on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00am with Pastor Michael Cary officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spring Life Church or American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends at the Watson Parma Chapel, 10661 W. Michigan Ave, Parma, MI on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00-7:00pm and Friday at the church from 10:00am until the time of service.
