Lawrence Charles Weller, 70 of Jackson, MI passed away peacefully in his sleep at Cascades Senior Care Center on August 29, 2025.
He was born on October 7, 1954 in Jackson, Michigan to Lawrence and Ethelda (Losey) Weller.
Lawrence was a graduate of Northwest High School in 1973 and received his Associate’s Degree from Jackson Community College.
He is survived by his children, Amelia (Drew) Tomasello; Rachel (Chris) Mason; Thomas (Meghan) Weller; and Leah (Kyle) Peters; seven grandchildren; and brothers, Bruce; Wayne and Chuck, and his sister, Kay; as well as his long-time best-friend, Terry Young.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ethelda (Losey) Weller.
Lawrence worked in various capacities, including Industrial Arts. His favorite hobbies included ballroom dancing and was mechanically inclined and skilled at welding amazing pieces.
Larry was a member of the Latter-Day Saints Church and was a devout Mormon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 10:00am until the time of service at Watson Funeral Chapel – 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson. The funeral service will begin at 11:00am with Brother John Tuttle, Officiating. Interment to follow at Lincoln-Pomeroy Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
