Laverne William "Bill" Parrott

Laverne William “Bill” Parrott, lifelong resident of Parma, passed away November 19, 2022 age 94 years.  Mr. Parrott was the son of Albert and Pearl Parrrott. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lorraine.  Surviving are three children; Jim (Peggy) and their son Ryan (Courtney) Parrott, Diana (John) Midgley and their children, Kelly (Michael) Sheppard, and John (Nicole) Midgley, Brad (Vicki) Parrott and their children, Cory (Melissa) Parrott, and Wendy (Chad) Lowder, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister.

He retired from Tompkins-Johnson after 28 years of service, President of the Campbell Cemetery Association, Member of the Parma Chapter of the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs. He loved playing cards, enjoyed golf and traveling.  Mr. Parrott is at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Parma where services will be held Friday November 25, 2022 at 1:00pm, Michael D. Mason officiating, interment Campbell Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the Watson Parma Chapel, Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Contributions may be made to the Campbell Cemetery Association 10339 Devereaux Rd.
