Larry passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. He was born October 8, 1941 in Jackson, Michigan the son of Downing A. and Violet V. Dull. Larry was a 1959 graduate of Jackson High School. He began his career in auto body repair at age 17, working for over 45 years. For two years, he transported travel trailer for FEMA. Later he worked at Lowe’s and other stores assembling products for customers. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, and hunting from 1962 until 2021, every year he would get his buck. He traveled with his wife and their 5th wheel trailer to auto events and to Florida for 2 months. He loved working with his 1924 Black Ford Model T Runabout.
Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara J. (Fox) Dull; sisters-in-law, Gloria and Gary Good, Carol and (Art) Dils, and Sheree and Matt Powaga; brothers-in-law, Jim and Pam Fox, and Loren Fox; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, Val and Claude Cooper, and Violet and Bill Shaughnessy; brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Pat Dull, and Harold and Chris Dull.
The Celebration of Larry’s Life will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 29, 2024 at Watson Funeral Chapel, 2590 Spring Arbor Road, Jackson, MI 49203. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 28th, at the funeral home. For those wishing, contributions may be made to Henry Ford Hospice or to a choice of one’s choice in memory of Larry.
